The mini saline works on the principle of historic graduation towers. A salt solution is spread over a structured tower with more than 900 cm² of surface area, where it evaporates naturally. In the process, very fine salt particles enter the room air.

Yes. What matters is less the size of the room than the immediate surroundings, meaning the area up to about 1.5 metres around the device. That is where the air contains the most salt. A measurement we commissioned on the Vita model shows this too: at a distance of 0.5 m, around 6.7 times as much sodium was measured in the air as at 2.5 m. Yes, as long as it is set up safely. The mini saline works without ultrasound and without misting, using only air, salt and water. The only important thing is that the device stands securely, cannot be knocked over and that the brine cannot be drunk.

No. Unlike ultrasonic nebulisers, no white dust settles on furniture or textiles, because nothing is misted. The saline evaporates passively over a large surface.
Salt crystals form directly on the device over time and are easy to wipe off. Place the saline on a mat or tray, as condensation can run down the device. Keep it about 30 to 50 cm away from sensitive surfaces such as untreated wood, and about 50 cm from electronic devices.
We recommend cleaning every 3 to 4 weeks; it takes about 5 minutes. In most cases it is enough to place the structured tower in clear, lukewarm water (no warmer than 35 °C), let it soak briefly and rinse it under running water.
There are no filters to change and no cleaning cycles. If needed, the pump can also be descaled with a mild vinegar or citric acid solution.
